About Us

Welcome to Freedom Outpost Ministries Philippines.

My name is Pastor Von Herbert Salimbagat, and together with my wife, Pastor Shilohmei Salimbagat, we have the privilege of serving God and our community in Surigao City, Philippines. We are blessed with two wonderful children—a daughter and a son—who are growing up alongside us in ministry and learning to love and serve the Lord.

Freedom Outpost Ministries is a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, compassion, and practical outreach. Since God called us to begin this ministry in 2016, our desire has been simple: to reach people with the Gospel and demonstrate Christ's love through both His Word and acts of kindness.

Over the years, God has faithfully opened many doors for us to serve people from all walks of life.

Our ministry includes:

• Children's Ministry – Sharing the Gospel with children through Bible teaching, worship, discipleship, feeding programs, and special outreach events. We believe every child deserves to know the love of Jesus and have hope for the future.

• Prison Ministry – Bringing the message of hope, forgiveness, and restoration to inmates. We believe that no life is beyond God's redeeming grace, and we are committed to helping people encounter Jesus regardless of their past.

• Campus Ministry – Reaching students in schools with the Gospel, encouraging young people to build a strong relationship with Christ and become godly leaders in their generation.

• Evangelism and Mission Outreach – Traveling to communities, villages, and underserved areas to preach the Gospel, conduct evangelistic outreaches, support local churches, and minister to those who have never heard the Good News.

Our mission is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, evangelize the lost, equip believers, extend God's Kingdom, and empower future generations to become faithful followers of Christ.

Everything we do is made possible through God's faithfulness and the generosity of people who believe in the Great Commission. Whether we are preaching the Gospel, feeding children, visiting prisons, encouraging students, or responding to urgent community needs, our goal is always the same, to glorify God and bring His hope to those who need it most.

We believe that ministry is not only about preaching from a pulpit but also about serving people with compassion, meeting practical needs, and demonstrating the love of Christ in tangible ways. Every life transformed, every child reached, every family encouraged, and every soul that comes to know Jesus is a testimony of God's amazing grace.
